We've just completed the first four months of 2013 and all indicators in the real estate market are positive. The market is being fueled by buyers competing for limited homes on the market and low interest rates. Successful sellers have learned that realistic pricing is what it takes to attract today's qualified buyers.
Greenbrae has performed in a consistent and steady fashion. There were 11 single family homes sold at this time last year as compared to 12 so far this year. There are currently 11 homes on the market - 9 of these homes are in contract. Buyers are anxious for more homes to become available as we march through our spring season.
